Davis Farms

Derek and Susan Davis welcome you to Davis Farms!  Derek, a San Diego County native, grew up in Encinitas, when it was just a small beach town whose railroad tracks separated the beach from many farms. In the 1950s, his grandfather owned an avocado orchard in Bonita where he would visit and lend a hand during the holiday season, sparking his passion for growing food.  Following the passing of Derek's grandfather, the property was sold, but that didn't break Derek's connection with agriculture.  Susan has a heritage of farming in her family from Taiwan.  Derek and Susan met at San Diego State University, and now have been married 44 years with children and grand children.  Thank you for supporting locally grown family farming.
